Brussel's Bonsai Nursery realizes that you are placing your trust in us by ordering from us. We have never shared customer information with any third party not involved with the transaction, and we pledge to not share or sell your personal information to any third party not involved in the transaction for any reason. We treat this information as strictly confidential.

Secure Ordering
We value your business, and to further ensure your privacy, we have implemented secure online ordering using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. We use the SSL certificate provided by our host provider, Hiway Technologies. Your information is encrypted and/or password-protected at all times. When using the secure certificate provided by Hiway Technologies, our customers never leave our site, and Hiway Technologies is unable to view or make a record of any information passed over the secure connection. If, while ordering, you see the web address listed as "https://www29.hway.net/brusse/...", do not be alarmed. You have not left our site. This is merely an alternate method of accessing our site that allows the use of the secure connection. You can verify this for yourself by visiting http://www29.hway.net/brusse.

The Information We Collect
We do not collect information from you through cookies. The only way we obtain personal information is from a submission. If you have submitted an order to us, we have a record of the information you submitted. This includes:

purchaser's name
purchaser's billing address
shipping address, whether same as above or not
purchaser's credit card information
purchaser's telephone number
purchaser's email address

If you submitted your email or mailing address for the purpose of receiving promotional mailings, then we have that. If you would like to know what information we have collected concerning you, email us at privacy@brusselsbonsai.com. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before sending this information to you.

Our online store does use cookies to link you to your shopping cart, but the information in the cookie is not an information-gathering tool. It does not contain any personal or sensitive information.

Use of Personal Information
Brussel's Bonsai Nursery uses personal information for the fulfillment of orders when submitted. Your email address is used as a primary contact in the event of a confusion or problem with your order. All email addresses submitted to us will be added to our promotional email list. This includes those of you who submitted it in the order form. All postal billing addresses are added to our promotional mail list. All other information as listed above is kept on file for bookkeeping purposes. We DO NOT add shipping addresses to our mailing lists. If you ship an item as a gift, we will NOT add the recipient to our mailing list. We DO NOT share any customer information with any outside organizations that are not directly related to the fulfillment of an order.

Corrections to Personal Information
If some of the information we have collected is incorrect, please email us at angela@brusselsbonsai.com. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections.

Removal from Promotional Mailing Lists
You can be removed at any time from either our postal address list or our email address list by emailing us at unsubscribe@brusselsbonsai.com, and asking to be removed.
