Japanese Five Needle Pine is called the Prince Of Pine Bonsai. This specimen tree has the age necessary to make a statement. The trunk movement along with the contrast of the aged bark and green foliage are proof of years of training. What a great Specimen Five Needle Pine.
Spring is the best time to repot. Repot young trees (up to 10 years) every other year. Repot older trees every 3-4 years. In the tropics it can be done at any time if given proper after care. Always allow the soil to become dry before repotting and do not water it until new growth appears. Keep it in a semi-shaded location until new growth begins, then place it in its normal location. Good drainage is most important.
