OLIVE BRANCH, Miss., September 1, 2022 - Brussel's Bonsai Nursery, the largest importer and grower of bonsai trees in the United States announced today Terra Miller as the new general manager to oversee the facility and operations located in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Miller brings more than a decade of experience in perations management, disbursement analysis, coordination, and processing to her new role.

As General Manager, Miller will oversee a team of 40 employees and its nearly 200,000-square-foot facility located just 20 minutes outside of Memphis. The nursery is devoted entirely to bonsai trees and includes climate-controlled greenhouses to provide optimum growing conditions for a variety of bonsai trees, from smaller gift plants to majestic specimen trees.

Miller started working at Brussel's Bonsai Nursery in 2018. In 2019, she began taking on more responsibility and was named controller and operations manager where she was responsible for approving outbound and inbound purchases and products, supervising the shipping department, managing a company spending budget,handling costs and tracking of imports, and coordinating with external software developers to maintain order imports from online platforms. During that time, Miller successfully minimized labor costs by 40 percent through streamlining processes which included the creation of standard operating procedures for each personal job description to improve hiring and management practices.

Brussel's Bonsai Nursery was founded by Brussel Martin more than 30 years ago as a dedication to the continuation of a 2,000-year-old art form of growing and importing bonsai trees, a plant that has been cultivated and trained to create the illusion of a dwarfed tree. The nursery offers the largest selection of bonsai trees in the United States.
